Budapest in December 1996, and formally approved by the Executive

presentations, and site visits to discuss ways of cooperation and
expanding knowledge about distance education.
2. Sharing knowledge about conferences, seminars/workshops in
distance learning and teacher training.
3. Circulating news among members about events and developments in
the implementation of distance education in Europe and the world.
4. Promoting (via available EAIE avenues) publications concerning
distance education and its application.
