 The Study Affairs at the University of Arts and Design Helsinki, UIAH, is a counselling and service unit, dealing centralized with matters concerning study administration at UIAH. The Study Affairs gives advice and helps with such matters as different study possibilities at UIAH, applications to become a student and practical matters concerning the studies of those already studying at UIAH.

Apart from counselling and guidning services the Study Affairs also plans and organizes the development of the education at UIAH, student selections and evaluations as well as supports the departmental efforts in the same areas.

The functions at Study Affairs also include the preparing and presentation of regulations and statements concerning various study matters and student selections
